Kerys Harrop

Kerys Harrop is a Lecturer in Football Coaching and Performance at the University of Wolverhampton, based at the Walsall Campus. She joined the faculty in 2023 as full-time staff, bringing extensive experience as a professional footballer and coach. Her roles include teaching on the Football Coaching and Performance degree program, leveraging her expertise in women's football and performance analysis.

• Education: BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, Masters in Sports Business and Management, Masters in Research of Sport, UEFA B Coaching Licence.
• Research Interests: Dual career pathways in women's football, focusing on balancing athletic and academic/life trajectories.

Her industry experience includes professional football in the Women's Super League (WSL) with Birmingham City and Tottenham Hotspur, representing England's U19 team, and roles as a coach at Birmingham City Women and Watford Community Trust. She also held a performance analyst placement at Walsall Football Club. Kerys is passionate about transferring her practical experience into educational settings to train future football professionals.
