Professor Kerstin Schultz is a faculty member at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, where she holds an endowed professorship in Interior Construction, Conversion, Color and Design since 2008. She serves as Head of the Study Program for Architecture and Interior Design and teaches courses including Colour and Space, Colour Theory I and II, Integral Finishing, Interior Design, and Design.
Her research focuses on the intersection of interior construction, color theory, and spatial design. Professor Schultz explores how color functions within architectural spaces, particularly examining color reflections in daylight rooms and the application of color in both surface and three-dimensional space. Her publications consistently address the relationship between color, space, and construction methodology.
