Kerstin Main

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kerstin Main is a Professor in the Department of Economics at the West Coast University of Applied Sciences, specializing in Real Estate Management. She holds positions as Vice Dean for Teaching in the Department of Economics, Head of Real Estate Management (Teaching), and oversees foreign relations with the real estate industry in Asia. She is also a Member of the Administrative Board of the Student Union Schleswig-Holstein.

Her teaching responsibilities include courses such as Facility Management II, WM Urbanization and Sustainable District Development, Real Estate Marketing and Sales, and Project Development II. She contributes to both bachelor’s and master’s programs through seminars and academic guidance.

Prof. Main’s research interests focus on sustainable real estate practices, urban development strategies, and international real estate market dynamics, particularly in Asia. She actively engages with industry partnerships to bridge academic and professional realms.
