Kerstin Hamrin is a Senior Lecturer at the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH), affiliated with the Department of Physiology, Nutrition and Biomechanics. She holds a Ph.D. in Physiology from Karolinska Institutet (1999–2004). Her research has transitioned from pioneering microdialysis techniques in human skeletal muscle to focusing on pedagogical strategies in exercise science education. She currently investigates how teaching methods and assessment practices can enhance long-term retention of human biology knowledge among students.
