Kerry Sloan

Kerry Sloan is an Assistant Professor at McGill University's Faculty of Law, specializing in Métis law and legal issues. She holds a PhD in Law and Society from the University of Victoria and has extensive experience in Indigenous legal practice, postdoctoral research, and legal education. Her research focuses on Métis legal frameworks, Indigenous-state legal interactions, and revitalization of Métis governance. She is affiliated with the Métis Nation of Greater Victoria and contributes to Indigenous legal citation standards through collaborations with McGill's library and law review.
