Kerry Fulcher

Dr. Kerry Fulcher serves as the 15th President of Point Loma Nazarene University, having previously held roles as Provost and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. With 30 years of service at PLNU since joining as a biology professor in 1994, he has deeply shaped the university's academic direction while maintaining his Christian educational philosophy.

His educational background includes:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology from Northwest Nazarene University (1985)
• Doctorate in Zoology from University of Idaho (1990)
• NIH post-doctoral fellowship at National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences

Fulcher's professional journey reflects a commitment to both academic excellence and spiritual formation.
