Kerri Welch

Kerri Welch, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) within the School of Consciousness and Transformation, specializing in the Department of Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness. She has taught courses such as The Texture of Time, Modern Physics, Archeoastronomy, and Infographics since joining CIIS in 2011.

Her research bridges physics, philosophy, and consciousness studies, focusing on the nature of time and its intersection with human experience. This is exemplified in her book A Fractal Topology of Time: Deepening Into Timelessness (2020), which explores temporal structures through a multidisciplinary lens.

Welch earned her PhD from CIIS’s Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness program in 2010. She emphasizes experiential learning and maintains a strong connection to the natural world, residing in Austin, TX, where she draws inspiration from wild landscapes.
