Kermit Bridges

Dr. Kermit Bridges serves as President of Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) and holds an adjunct faculty position. He earned a D.Min. from Fuller Theological Seminary, with additional degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (M.A.), and SAGU (B.A.).

His leadership has driven significant campus expansion including new academic facilities and residential halls. Before his presidency, he served as Vice President for University Advancement, achieving record enrollments and capital campaign success. Pastoral experience includes senior roles at multiple churches across Texas and Missouri.

Bridges' academic interests focus on ministerial training and leadership development within Christian higher education. He continues to teach occasionally while overseeing institutional strategy as president.
