Keri Freeman

Dr. Keri Freeman is an HDR Language and Learning Educator affiliated with Queensland University of Technology (QUT), holding roles in the Academic Division, Research Portfolio, and Director's Office for Grad Research & Development. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Griffith University. Her research focuses on academic writing support, international student experiences, and the ethical integration of generative AI in higher education. Recent work explores frameworks for responsible AI use in research and community-based writing feedback mechanisms.

Dr. Freeman’s publications analyze international students' challenges in global academic environments and the efficacy of personalized writing consultations. She contributes to QUT’s graduate research development initiatives, emphasizing evidence-based educational practices and inclusive learning environments.
