Kent Smith

Kent Smith is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Design Department at the University of Kansas's School of Architecture & Design, coordinating the Foundation Year program. He is based in Lawrence, KS, and actively involved in teaching, community arts initiatives, and collaborative creative projects.

His work spans illustration, graphic design, sculpture, and problem-solving across diverse media, including toys, beer labels, masks, and woodblocks. He co-hosts community art events like Thieves Guild life-drawing sessions, Percolator sketchbook workshops, and Lawrence Urban Sketchers gatherings.
