Kenneth TAI

Kenneth TAI is a Full-time Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University. He holds the Lee Kong Chian Fellowship (2022-2023) and has been recognized for teaching excellence, including multiple Dean’s Teaching Honor List mentions. His research focuses on envy dynamics, workplace deviance, power and status, well-being, and cultural influences on behavior.

Education: PhD in Management & Organization from National University of Singapore (2013), B.Soc.Sci. (Honours) in Psychology (2008).

Research Interests: Envy’s impact on teams, deviant workplace behavior, power dynamics, social inclusion, and the intersection of culture and individual psyche. His work bridges organizational behavior with social psychology, exploring how interpersonal interactions and cultural contexts shape behavior.

Awards & Grants: Recipient of Lee Kong Chian Fellowship (2022-2023), Della Suantio Fellowship (2017-2018), multiple Singapore Management University Research Grants, and a prestigious President’s Graduate Fellowship (2010-2012).

Grants & Advising: Active in securing research grants and mentoring students. His work has been published in top-tier journals like Journal of Applied Psychology and Academy of Management Review.

Labs/Teams: Engaged in collaborative research projects on workplace behavior, cultural psychology, and organizational dynamics within the Lee Kong Chian School of Business.
