Kenneth S. Sacks is a Professor of History and Classics at Brown University, with a focus on Greek intellectual history and American Transcendentalism. He previously served as Dean of the College at Brown (1995–1998) and taught at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1976–1995). Holding a PhD in Ancient History from UC Berkeley (1976), he has authored seminal works such as Understanding Emerson and Diodorus Siculus and the First Century.
