His educational background includes an LLM with honors from the London School of Economics (1997), a JD from Yale Law School (1994) where he served as Senior Editor of the Yale Law Journal, and a BS from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations (1991) as a Merill Presidential Scholar.
Rosen's research spans artificial intelligence regulation, corporate governance, securities law, and international business transactions, with emphasis on financial market regulation and the intersection of law with economics. His interdisciplinary approach connects legal theory with practical regulatory challenges in global finance, particularly regarding ESG frameworks and corporate social responsibility. Recent scholarship analyzes judicial legacies in civil rights cases and the evolving role of financial regulators.
His publications reveal consistent focus on regulatory boundaries in securities law, corporate governance reform in finance capitalism, and cross-border legal harmonization. The work demonstrates expertise in both historical legal analysis (e.g., Birmingham church bombing cases) and contemporary regulatory challenges (e.g., AI governance and ESG implementation).
