Professor Kenneth Lee is a Diamond Jubilee International Visiting Fellow at the University of Southampton from 2014 to 2017, hosted by Professor Richard Oreffo of the School of Medicine. His research collaboration focuses on establishing ties between the Centre for Human Development, Stem Cells and Regeneration at Southampton and the School of Biomedical Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Key activities include a 2014 public lecture on STAP stem cells, joint grant applications, and the development of a formalized joint PhD program. In 2016, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed to establish a Joint Laboratory, with the first student exchange conducted.
