Dr. Kenneth Laudermilch is an Adjunct Professor of Trumpet at Lebanon Valley College (LBC) since 2012. Previously, he served as Trumpet Professor and Director of the Wind Ensemble and Chamber Winds at West Chester University from 1968 to 2006. He has extensive conducting experience, including guest conducting for honor bands across multiple states and leading the New Holland Band (since 2005). His performance career includes roles as Principal Trumpet in the Delaware Symphony Orchestra and the Westminster Brass quintet, alongside substitute positions with the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Research interests focus on music pedagogy, brass performance techniques, and integrating faith with artistic expression. His publications include An Understandable Approach to Musical Expression (2000) and Designed, No Less (2021), reflecting his dual expertise in music and personal advocacy.
He has contributed to music education through columns in The Pennsylvania Music Educator’s Journal and The Instrumentalist Magazine. His career highlights include co-founding the Westminster Brass Quintet and directing music workshops for youth.
