Dr. Kenneth Gillingham is the Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the Yale School of the Environment (YSE) and a Professor with a primary appointment at YSE and secondary appointments in the Department of Economics, Yale School of Management, and Jackson School of Global Affairs. He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University in Management Science & Engineering and Economics. His research focuses on energy and environmental economics, behavioral economics, and climate policy, with emphasis on consumer decisions in transportation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. He previously served at the White House Council of Economic Advisers and has affiliations with the National Bureau of Economic Research.
