Kenneth Craig (1947–2022) was an Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Art, Art History, and Film Department at Boston College. He held roles such as Chair and Assistant Chair of the Fine Arts Department and served as Historian and later President of Boston College’s Phi Beta Kappa chapter. Craig earned his B.A. and M.A. from Ohio State University and his Ph.D. from Bryn Mawr College. His research focused on Northern Renaissance and Baroque art, particularly Pieter Aertsen, and Greek archaeology. Known for his passionate teaching, he inspired generations of students through courses like The Age of Rembrandt and Greek Art and Archaeology. His legacy includes mentoring countless art history majors and fostering academic rigor in the department.
