Kenneth Chang is a Research Associate Professor and Director of the Functional Genomics Shared Resource at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory's Cancer Center. He received his PhD in Molecular Genetics from Stony Brook University.
His research focuses on:
- Optimizing RNAi and CRISPR gene perturbation platforms
- Developing algorithms for predicting potent shRNA designs
- Creating miRNA-modeled shRNA libraries
- Application of genetic screens in cancer biology
As director of the Functional Genomics Shared Resource, Chang provides access to advanced RNAi/CRISPR technologies and supports research programs across CSHL. His work enables high-throughput investigation of gene function in disease models.
