Kendra Bowen

Kendra Bowen is Associate Professor and Graduate Director in Criminology & Criminal Justice at Texas Christian University's AddRan College of Liberal Arts. With a Ph.D. in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, her research examines sex crimes, victimization patterns, and prisoner reentry challenges. She teaches courses including Victimology, Sex Crimes, and Criminal Justice Ethics.

Bowen's research focuses on criminal case processing, law enforcement collaboration with child advocacy centers, and equity in legal representation. Her work employs empirical methods to analyze prosecutorial decision-making and systemic barriers in justice systems.

As Graduate Director, Bowen oversees program development and professional training for criminal justice students. Recent publications investigate racial disparities in sexual assault convictions and resource limitations in child abuse investigations.
