Ken Roach

Ken Roach is an Assistant Professor of Counseling at the University of Phoenix. With over 22 years of experience as a clinical mental health counselor, he holds an Ed.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Argosy University (2014) and an M.S. in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah (1999).

• Teaches graduate-level counseling classes at University of Phoenix (since 2004) and Argosy University (Salt Lake City Campus)
• Directed University of Phoenix's CACREP-accredited Counseling Skills Center training clinic for over 5 years
• Private practice counselor in Millcreek and Pleasant Grove

Kenneth's clinical work emphasizes a humanistic approach, integrating emotional, relational, existential, and spiritual dimensions. He specializes in sexual violence cases as an expert witness, and has served on the DOPL CMHC Licensing Board and the LGBTQ+-Affirmative Therapist Guild. His advocacy work includes:
