Ken Newman

Dr. Ken Newman is a part-time Professor of Educational Leadership at Union University. His educational background includes a Doctorate from the University of Memphis, along with multiple master's degrees from the same institution, and a BA from Union University.

His academic work focuses on educational improvement strategies, particularly:

• Literacy development across curriculum
• Common Core State Standards implementation
• Classroom differentiation techniques
• Critical thinking pedagogy
• Teacher professional development

Dr. Newman has conducted extensive professional development workshops for K-12 educators on topics including close reading strategies, writing instruction, differentiated learning, and Common Core alignment.
