Prof. Ken Haenen is a Full Professor at Hasselt University, serving as Vice-Rector for Research & Internationalisation and Head of the WBGM research group within imo-imomec. He holds a doctorate from 2002 and has extensive postdoctoral experience, including at Japan’s National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS). His research focuses on CVD diamond synthesis, opto-electronic characterization, and carbon-based materials for energy applications.
