Kelsey Wei is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas. She holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin (2002), an MS in Economics from Texas A&M University (1997), and a BS in Engineering Economics from Tianjin University, China (1993).
Her research focuses on mutual fund performance, institutional investors, mergers and acquisitions, and foreign exchange exposure. Notable contributions include studies on conflicts of interest in sell-side research and fund flow dynamics. She has received awards such as the 2005 New York State/United University Professions Award and the 2013 Financial Management Association International Best Paper Award.
