Kelsey Blake is a Lecturer at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her research focuses on Early Medieval Medicine, Carolingian thought and culture, Holy bodies, Disease and death rituals, and Hagiography. She holds a Ph.D. in Pre-Modern European History (2023) from the University of Tennessee, an M.A. in the same field (2017), an M.Sc. in Human Osteoarchaeology from the University of Edinburgh (2013), and a B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2012).
