Kelly Y. Neiles is an Associate Dean of Faculty and Professor of Chemistry at St. Mary's College of Maryland (SMCM). She is affiliated with the Chemistry Department and actively engages in research focused on chemical education, inclusive curriculum development, and science pedagogy.

Her research investigates how scaffolded curricula and authentic laboratory experiences can improve student engagement and accessibility in STEM. She employs eye-tracking technology to analyze how students interpret chemical visualizations and emphasizes collaborative research with undergraduate scholars.
