Kelly Massey is an Instructor in the Department of Business Administration at the University of West Florida (UWF). He serves as Regional Director of the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UWF since 2014, overseeing operations across 10 counties in Northwest Florida. Previously, he was Center Director at Henderson State University SBDC in Arkansas. He has taught graduate-level MBA courses for 15 years and owns tax preparation and real estate investment businesses, while also acting as an angel investor.
Education: Massey holds a Master of Business Administration. Prior to academia, he spent 12 years in human resources management at major manufacturing firms like Georgia-Pacific and International Paper Company.
Research interests focus on small business development, entrepreneurship, economic development, and business continuity. His professional certifications include Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP).
