Kelly Lyman is Coordinator of the Executive Leadership Program and Lecturer in the Department of Educational Leadership at UConn's Neag School of Education. With nearly 30 years of school leadership experience, she focuses on systemic educational improvement and collaborative leadership models.
Her work emphasizes developing 21st century skills through reimagined school structures and empowering learning communities. Lyman has extensive international experience, including training principals in Jordan through partnerships with the Jordanian Ministry of Education and Queen Rania Teacher's Academy.
As a retired superintendent, she consults globally on school redesign and accreditation. Honors include the Danforth Scholarship during her administrative certification and an Education Policy Fellowship. She teaches courses on school culture, human capital management, and financial leadership.
