Kelly Knickmeier-Cummings

Kelly Knickmeier-Cummings is a Lecturer of Russian in the Department of World Languages & Cultures at Howard University's College of Arts & Sciences. Her interdisciplinary research spans literature, philosophy, and language/media literacy pedagogy. She co-directs the REEES Think Tank, a national micro-credentialing program supporting underrepresented students in Russian, East European, and Eurasian studies.

Her scholarly work has appeared in Slavic Review and The Russian Language Journal, focusing on enhancing cultural and linguistic competencies through innovative educational frameworks.
