Kelly Fisher

Kelly Fisher is a Professor & Public Services Librarian at Eureka College, affiliated with the Melick Library. She holds an MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BA in English with a History minor from Illinois State University.

• Research Interests: Focus on Open Access electronic publications for interlibrary loans, marketing strategies for non-profit arts groups, and information literacy instruction.
• Teaching: Emphasizes keyword brainstorming and search syntax formation in information literacy training.
• Professional Activity: Active member of the American Library Association (ALA) and Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL).
• Community Engagement: Former Vice-President of Eureka College Women's Board, Girl Scout Troop leader, and Marketing Director for Peoria Area Civic Chorale.
