Kelly Coleman

Kelly Coleman is an Assistant Professor and Program Director for Athletic Training Education at Southern CT State University's Department of Health & Movement Sciences. Her work focuses on professional development and occupational prestige in athletic training.

• Current research includes developing a Professional Self-Concept Scale for Athletic Trainers, funded by Southern CT State University ($2,500 and $7,099 grants active since August 2023).
• Presented at the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) Annual Symposium (June 2024) on athletic trainers' perception of occupational prestige across healthcare professions.
