Dr. Kelly C. Johnston is an Associate Professor at the School of Education, Baylor University. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction, focusing on literacy pedagogy, critical literacies, and equity in education. Her research explores literacy engagement in underserved communities, integrating literacy with physical activity and sociomaterial frameworks.
