Kellie Hames is Adjunct Professor of Art and Print Technician at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Art, where she manages traditional and digital print facilities. A Tamarind-certified Master Printer, she holds an MFA from Northern Illinois University and BFA from Minnesota State University Moorhead, with specialized training at Tamarind Institute.
Her artistic practice explores suburban landscapes and childhood experiences through surrealist lenses, employing lithography and multimedia approaches. Hames has participated in international residencies at Atelier le Grand Village (France) and maintains an active exhibition record across the U.S. and Europe.
Teaching responsibilities include introductory print media courses and Pre-College summer programs. As facilities manager for Doherty Hall, she oversees safety protocols and technical training while maintaining printmaking equipment and resources.
