Kelli Frost is an Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistant program at University of Detroit Mercy's College of Health Professions & MSON. She specializes in hematology, oncology, and clinical education.
Frost earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from University of Detroit Mercy and Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Michigan State University. Her career began in clinical nutrition, where she secured foundation funding to establish dietitian services in oncology care. After transitioning to clinical practice as a hematology/oncology PA, she joined Detroit Mercy in 2018 where she teaches Physical Exam Practicum and content in her specialty areas.
Her research investigates oncology care models, benign hematology disorders, and interprofessional education frameworks. Current projects examine patient evaluation protocols and educational methodologies for clinical training.
