Kelli Brown, MPH, DrPH, is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Education at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). She serves as program manager for the Master of Science in Global Health Equity program, supporting students and managing program activities. Her work focuses on reducing health inequities through collaborative partnerships in education, research, and community engagement.
Education: Completed a Master of Public Health (2015) at UW-Madison with global health specialization and a Doctorate in Public Health (2024) at MCW, focusing on peer support programs in community-based organizations.
Research interests include antibiotic resistance in rural communities (India), social determinants of health, and recovery/reentry initiatives. She has taught public health courses as an adjunct instructor at Carroll University. Professional experience includes roles at the Harris County Health Department (Environmental Health division) and international volunteer work.
