Kelley Solomon is an Associate Professor of Education, Chairperson of the Education Department, and Program Director for the Master of Education at Waynesburg University. She holds a B.S., M.A., and Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from West Virginia University, with a focus on Adolescent Literacy. Her research interests include curriculum design, educational psychology, adolescent literacy, and pre-service teacher supervision. Dr. Solomon previously spent 17 years as a public school teacher in English/Language Arts.
Her scholarly work includes the publication Listening to Students’ Voices about Young Adult Literature: A Phenomenological Approach, reflecting her focus on student-centered pedagogy. She has held leadership roles in educational administration, contributing to program development and departmental governance.
