Keith Zullig

Keith J. Zullig serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at West Virginia University School of Public Health, with additional responsibilities as Associate Dean for Departmental Affairs. He earned his M.S.P.H. and Ph.D. in Health Promotion, Education & Behavior from the University of South Carolina's Arnold School of Public Health.

His research program focuses on adolescent quality of life, substance use prevention, and intervention science, with work spanning mental health disparities, behavioral risk factors, and public health interventions. Funded by NIH agencies, CDC, and state foundations, his investigations frequently examine vulnerable populations in Appalachian communities.

Dr. Zullig's publication portfolio demonstrates consistent focus on adolescent behavioral health, substance use epidemiology, and measurement validation across educational and clinical settings. Recent works emphasize mental health interventions, social determinants, and technology-based health promotion strategies.
