Keith Webb

Keith Webb is an Associate Professor and Director of the Illustration Minor program in the Department of Design at the University of Central Oklahoma's College of Fine Arts and Design. With over 30 years of service at UCO, he has held various positions including Director of Graphic Design, Instructor of Art and Design, and technology leadership roles.

His educational background includes:

• M.F.A. from University of Central Oklahoma (2007)
• M.A. from University of Central Oklahoma (1996)
• B.F.A. from University of Oklahoma (1987)

Professor Webb specializes in illustration techniques with research interests spanning:

• Comic and sequential illustration
• Digital painting and airbrush techniques
• Character design and narrative visualization
• Theater and cinematography influences in visual arts

His recognized achievements include:

• Faculty On-Campus Grant Award (2012-2013)
• Student Choice Award (2012)
• Collaborative Team Award (2012)
• Senior Faculty Award for Professional Contributions (2011)
• Multiple ADDY Awards for professional illustration
• Fifteen Years Service Award (2008)

As Illustration Program Director, he has guided numerous student projects that won ADDY Awards. He maintains office hours on Tuesdays/Thursdays (3-6 PM) and by appointment on Fridays in the Art & Design building.
