Keith M. Martin

Keith M. Martin is a Professor in the Department of Information Security at Royal Holloway, University of London. He serves as Director of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security for the Everyday and previously led the Information Security Group (2010–2015). His research focuses on cryptography, cyber security, and encryption policy, with contributions to foundational security principles and real-world applications.

He has held academic leadership roles including Director of the EPSRC CDT and has been instrumental in shaping UK cyber security research initiatives. His work bridges technical innovation with societal impact, addressing challenges such as encryption control policies and cyber threat intelligence.
