Keith Heyward

Keith Heyward is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Physics at North Carolina State University, serving as Demoroom Manager. He holds a PhD from NC State (2008) and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (1983). Prior to academia, he spent 18 years in the electrical power industry. His research focuses on computational hydrodynamics in core collapse supernovae, specifically energy transfer via acoustic waves during post-bounce phases.
