Keith Evan Schubert

Dr. Keith Evan Schubert is a Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Baylor University. He holds a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2003), an MSEE from the University of California, Los Angeles (1992), and a BSGE from the University of Redlands (1991).

His research focuses on robust estimation and control, imaging, and scientific computation with applications in medical and space domains. Specific projects include Proton Computed Tomography (pCT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) distortion correction, image fusion, and adaptive targeting algorithms. He also investigates high-performance scientific computing using General Purpose Graphics Processing Units (GPGPU) and cluster algorithms for large sparse systems, alongside extremophile growth modeling for life in extreme environments.
