Dr. Keith Debbage is a Professor of Geography at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, specializing in urban economic development, airline route networks, and tourism economics. He holds a PhD from the University of Georgia, an MA from the University of Surrey (England), and a BSc from the University of Dundee (Scotland).
His research focuses on the interplay between transportation networks and regional economies, particularly in the context of airline industry dynamics and tourism. Notable studies include analyses of air freight connections to metropolitan economies and the impact of urban form on air quality and CO2 emissions.
Dr. Debbage has authored over 60 publications and co-edited influential works such as *The Economic Geography of the Tourist Industry* (1998).
