About
Professor Keith Brennan is Professor of Developmental Signalling at the University of Manchester's Division of Cancer Sciences and Associate Dean for Internationalisation. His research explores Notch and Wnt signalling pathways in mammary gland development and breast cancer.
Current projects investigate how Notch signalling controls cellular behaviors including proliferation, apoptosis, and adhesion, with implications for tumor initiation and progression. His lab focuses on crosstalk between developmental signalling pathways.
Professor Brennan leads research on PKC/TGF-ß signalling in arterial calcification and directs projects on precision breast cancer prevention. He previously held a Wellcome Trust Research Career Development Fellowship.
