Ke Tang is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Thermophysics from Zhejiang University (2005) and a B.S. in Refrigeration and Cryogenics from the same institution (2000). His academic career includes roles as an Adjunct Research Associate Professor (2018–2022), Lecturer (2022–2023), and Associate Professor at Zhejiang University (2007–2015). He has also served as a Senior Technology Manager and Research Engineer at Creative Thermal Solutions Inc. (2015–2022).
