Dr. Kayte Thomas is a Part-time Faculty member at Baylor University. She is a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina and a certified clinical trauma professional with diverse experience in birth defects advocacy, developmental disability support, mental health, and refugee resettlement. A passionate advocate for social justice, she guides new social workers through clinical supervision.
Her research focuses on trauma and resiliency in Syrian refugee mothers, global maternal health issues, and intergenerational trauma transmission.
