Kay Smith is the Acting Head of Department for Accounting, Finance, Logistics and Economics and holds the position of Senior Lecturer at the Huddersfield Business School, part of the School of Business, Education and Law at the University of Huddersfield. She has been with the institution since 2007, previously working in Further Education where she managed programs and served as deputy head of department. Her research focuses on mortgage accessibility for ethnic minorities and the socio-economic impacts of financial crises, particularly in the UK context.
