Katy Budge is a Lecturer in International Politics at Aberystwyth University's Department of International Politics, having joined in August 2023. She holds a PhD from the University of Sussex, where her dissertation investigated 'Values, violence and ambiguities of resistance: interrogating "Cosmopolitan EUrope" from the border'. Prior to academia, she spent a decade in UK governmental roles, including Head of Constitutional Policy at the Cabinet Office.
