Katy Bergstrom is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Tulane University. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Prior to her academic career, she worked as an economist in the World Bank’s Development Research Group.

- Optimal taxation and redistribution in developing countries
- Determinants of income inequality
- Investment differentials across children
