Katti Williams is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Australian architectural history at The University of Melbourne, affiliated with the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning. She holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne (2017), focusing on architect William Lucas's unbuilt First World War memorial designs.
Her research integrates art, architectural, military, and cultural histories, with interests in commemorative architecture, classical precedents, soldier architects, and architectural biography. She has been published in Melbourne Art Journal and Sculpture Journal, and co-edited a 2019 issue of Fabrications on 'Haunting' with Dr Rebecca McLaughlan.
She received a Junior Fellowship at the Paul Mellon Centre (London, 2007) and collaborates with the Australian Centre for Architectural History, Urban and Cultural Heritage (ACAHUCH).
