Katrina Piccone Merlini

Katrina Piccone Merlini is an Adjunct Professor in Psychology at George Mason University with 15+ years of applied I/O psychology experience. She holds a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology (2013). Her research examines organizational leadership, workplace inclusion, and employee motivation. Previously, she served as Senior Researcher at SHRM and Assistant Professor at Florida Tech, where she chaired the Organizational Leadership Master's program. Current courses include Foundations of Organizational Psychology and Applied Leadership.

Her publications focus on inclusive leadership measurement, DEI sustainability in corporations, and motivational resource allocation. Professional experience includes developing command climate assessments for military units and leadership training programs for DoD/VA.
