Katrin Bergener

Dr. Katrin Bergener is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Information Systems, School of Business and Economics, University of Münster. She serves as Managing Director of the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS) since May 2024 and previously held roles as Senior Academic Councillor (2023–2024) and Academic Councillor (2020–2023). Her work bridges information systems research with practice through projects like Digital Me (gender-focused IT career guidance) and AI-bility (AI awareness for schoolchildren).
